I am a Nottingham-based photographer and cultural leader working across personal photographic practice, artist development and socially engaged photography.

My photographic practice explores memory, identity, familial ties and place. Working across self-portraiture, landscape and the family archive, I use fragments, layering and atmospheric imagery to consider how personal history and place shape our sense of self and belonging. My work has been exhibited internationally and is held in collections including the Victoria and Albert Museum, the British Library and Historic England.

Alongside my own practice, I work across programme development, facilitation, mentoring, partnership-building and producing, with a particular interest in creating supportive and accessible opportunities for photographers. I am Co-Director of Sequence: Nottingham Centre for Photography and Social Engagement and lead The Sisterhood Collective, a women-centred photography community and development programme supporting women at different stages of their practice.

Previously, I worked with Cómo Ser Fotógrafa, a Madrid-based organisation supporting women photographers in Spain and Latin America, where I contributed to exhibitions, festivals, professional development programmes and international partnerships. This included curating Contemporáneas for PHotoESPAÑA 2023.

Across both my own practice and my work with others, I am interested in photography as a space for reflection, exchange, confidence-building and creative development.
